In an X post, Japanese crypto exchange Rakuten Wallet shared a message directed to the $SHIB community.
In a message addressed to all $SHIB holders, the crypto exchange highlighted an upcoming event in September that concerns Shiba Inu.
Rakuten Wallet announced on September 12 that its Securities Investment Academy in Fukuoka, Japan, will feature a presentation by Matsuda, senior analyst at Rakuten Wallet. On the day of the event, a giveaway for "real $SHIB coins," a physical metal souvenir coin previously launched in July will take place at the Rakuten Wallet booth.

In July, Rakuten Wallet announced the creation of the first physical Shiba Inu ($SHIB) coin of its kind, being the first to use sandblasting technology, known as a blast finish. The physical $SHIB coin is a metal souvenir with no technical connection to the blockchain.
Rakuten Wallet continues to show $SHIB support
Rakuten Wallet continues to demonstrate support for Shiba Inu after adding the meme coin to its lineup in April. The listing allows millions of Japanese users to convert their loyalty points, known as Rakuten Points, into $SHIB and spend them through the Rakuten Pay payment system at 5 million retail locations across the country.
In June, shortly after $SHIB went live on the platform, the crypto exchange announced it was launching dedicated content for $SHIB, a special video, "Understanding $SHIB," undertaken by Rakuten Wallet senior analyst Matsuda.
Altcoins are lower across the board, with most tokens giving back gains as the market's focus stays on Bitcoin. At the time of writing, $SHIB was down 3.61% in the last 24 hours to $0.0000051. The altcoin season index sits at 33/100, well within Bitcoin-dominated territory.
