The broader DeFi presence around $AAVE strengthened as founder Stani Kulechov supplied another $4.77 million in $AAVE liquidity to the Uniswap decentralized exchange.

This supply introduced deeper market liquidity as $AAVE continued recovering from its June local low around the $58 demand zone.

Beyond Kulechov’s liquidity deployment, another development reinforced the ecosystem outlook.

Reportedly, tokenized commodities deposited across DeFi reached $133.3 million, with Aave holding $51.3 million across V2, V3, and V4.

Combined, Aave and Uniswap represented around 86% of those reported tokenized commodity deposits.

The concentration reflected Aave’s expanding role as tokenized real-world assets continued expanding across the decentralized platforms.

This stronger ecosystem activity, however, emerged as the token approached a critical technical zone after its substantial price recovery.

Hence, whether ecosystem demand could absorb additional available supply therefore became increasingly significant for the next price leg.

Rising reserves test $AAVE demand

Contrastingly, the supply conditions provided a clear counterweight to the improving fundamental backdrop.

According to CryptoQuant, $AAVE exchange reserves jumped 7.59%, bringing the total dollar-denominated value held across exchange wallets to approximately $415.2 million in 24 hours.

Generally, higher exchange availability usually increases potential selling pressure in case holders move toward realizing gains from the price recovery.

That selling pressure concern carried additional relevance after the token climbed approximately 2.7 times from its June local low.

However, the reserve increase still had not reversed the bullish price structure. Instead, buyers pushed through a key resistance level while the additional exchange supply remained available.

Therefore, $AAVE’s price strength faced a clear test: demand needed to absorb increased exchange-side availability without losing the technical breakout.

$AAVE breakout brings $160 closer

On the daily chart, $AAVE broke above the $147.64-resistance, turning the previous range ceiling into newly established support.

Subsequently, the token then extended towards $154.39-price, leaving only a narrow gap before the next key resistance at $160.

More importantly, the bulls maintained the breakout rather immediately surrendering the reclaimed $147.64-price level.

Additionally, the RSI indicator strengthened towards 66.61, while its signal average sat lower at 59.95.

Crucially, the indicator maintained below the 70 overbought threshold, leaving room for additional price advance before hitting stretched conditions.

A successful break of the $160-resistance therefore could expose the higher $180-zone. Losing $147.64-support however would weaken the breakout back into the previous consolidation range.

However for now, the combination of rising RSI and higher price structure kept $160-resistance as the immediate technical test.

Liquidation liquidity adds another upside target

The Binance Liquidation Heatmap provided another angle to the token’s developing test of the $160-resistance level.

At reporting time, $AAVE traded around the $154 price level, while several liquidation clusters remained visible above price around the $157- $162-region.

These liquidity liquidity clusters could therefore attract price upward so long as buyers maintain pressure above the newly reclaimed support.

A move into these liquidity clusters could also trigger short liquidations, potentially accelerating an advance toward the chart’s $160 resistance.

However, the heatmap also showed meaningful liquidity below price, including concentrations around $151 and $148.

Meanwhile, lower liquidity clusters also remained positioned around the $151-$148 region, although $AAVE had likely already collected much of it during the rally.

Final Summary

  • Aave’s expanding DeFi footprint strengthened $AAVE’s recovery despite rising exchange-side supply.
  • $AAVE’s breakout shifted attention toward $160 as overhead liquidation liquidity remained concentrated.
