Animoca Brands has completed a live pilot of AI commerce capabilities developed with Visa for Minds, its persistent AI agent platform.
The new tools allow Minds AI agents to help users find relevant Visa rewards and complete purchases on their behalf at selected merchants in Hong Kong, starting with the Bruce Lee Club Ltd eShop. The capabilities use Visa Intelligent Commerce and a cardholder rewards and benefits directory.
AdvertisementThe pilot moves Minds beyond search and recommendations into agentic commerce, where AI agents can act within user approved limits. Animoca said the system combines tokenized payment credentials, authentication, transaction controls and fraud protections to support secure agent initiated payments.
Minds also added a rewards directory that lets AI agents identify Visa Hong Kong and China offers based on a user’s eligible cards, preferences and purchase intent. The goal is to let users find relevant promotions without manually comparing card benefits.
The launch fits into Visa’s broader push to make AI powered commerce usable at scale. Visa said in December that more than 100 partners were working across its agentic commerce ecosystem, with more than 20 agents and agent enablers integrating directly with Visa Intelligent Commerce.
Animoca chairman and cofounder Yat Siu said the collaboration is meant to connect the emerging agentic world with established commerce infrastructure. Animoca is demonstrating the new Minds skills at LEAP East in Hong Kong from July 8 to July 10.
